Jezebel

The Bible speaks of a woman known as Ezehbel (Jezebel), who attacked and killed the prophets of Elohym in the Tanak (The Old Testament -- 1st Kings 18:4). Then again we see Eezehbel's name mentioned again in the Bryt Ha Khadashah (The New Testament -- Revelation 2:20). Obviously this cannot be the same woman that the Tanak spoke of, but rather is the same spirit of Ezehbel.

Shalom Beloved Sisters,

This particular topic is one that is needed, and one we truly need to take a GOOD look at, because if we look closely enough, we will actually see our own image! It does not matter how much truth we know, how much we say The Father's Name, The Messiah's Name, how much hebrew we know, whatever the case may be, we all have Ezehbel (Jezebel) inside of us. It is time to confront her, and get rid of her!!

How Do We Identify Her?

Ezehbel first of all is a master manipulator who uses flattering words and smooth sayings to seduce you. She is a warring, contending principality who works out of a spirit of controlling manipulation as she attacks those in true spiritual authority. We must beware of flattery, smooth prophetic sayings, and seducing tears from this spirit. She is an expert in working her sorceries in the imagination and emotional areas of your soul. A form of sorcery is the 'release' of controlling words, seducing flattery, manipulating silence, pouting, false tears, weeping, etc.( does this sound familiar), to get others to do your will. Eezehbel uses flattery as a tool to seduce. To seduce means to: cause to stray, lead away from the truth, deceive, wander out of the way, and lead into error.

Ezehbel will look for those who are in rebellion, those who are weak, wounded, or those who are contending with, bucking, and fighting spiritual authority. She knows how to use deep emotional hurts and wounds to manipulate and control as she creates soul ties with you. She loves to pull people to herself and away from those who can truly speak into their lives. She understands thoroughly the power of isolation.

Ezehbel plants subtle hints that sow discord and create criticism of leaders. She is a master at forming factions. Her goal is to undermine legitimate authority and supplant it with her own will. She desires for others to see her as the one with the best answers for the congregation. She appears to be spiritual and pious, but inwardly she has no allegiance to leadership and is not submitted to it, especially if that leadership is clearly masculine or anointed to govern. This spirit is born of witchcraft and rebellion (feminism). She establishes her stronghold primarily in women; however, many men have been victimized by it as well, where it functions as a "controlling" spirit.

As a secondary mission, and as equally important, Ezehbel seeks to emasculate all men, she fosters a distrust and/or hatred of men in general, especially men in authority! In the congregation Ezehbel wants to disqualify YAH's appointed leaders. Here her chief weapon is her tongue, and with it she fashions clever accusations (Isaiah 54:17). Unlike those who fear YAH, she doesn't hesitate to accuse YAH's servants (Romans 8:33). Any error or mis-step she discovers, is an excuse for not obeying or submitting.

Did you know sisters, in order for Ezehbel to exist, there has to be an Akh’ab (Ahab)!

Akh’ab was a weak man. He was not standing in the place YAHWAH created him for, therefore, Ezehbel, his wife, took his place (as many of us sistahs are doing today). If men took the positions they were created for, there would be no Ezehbel!! She can only exist, because there are weak men, and by weak men, I'm saying men who do not use their YAH given authority to govern his house, family, congregation, or any other area YAHWAH has given him.

We all need to check ourselves when it comes to this "Spirit", because whether we want to admit it or not, this "demonic" spirit dwells deep within us sisters, and in order to make this return successful, we must be free of it now!

Love in Messiah...
