A "bag" in particular that we must DROP is the "Wanna Be" and "Jiggaboo" thang
. What has got us sooooooo caught up in this "color thang?" "Light skinned", "red bone", vs "dark skinned", "blacky"...I mean, wow! Such self-hatred!!!

It is reality! I remember some years ago seeing an episode of Oprah, where she was speaking with some sistas and one of them said that they remember their grandmother saying... "Child you betta marry a white man if you want to have 'pretty children. Cause if you have children wit' a black man, yo' babies gone be a pack of picaninnies."
And the sista on the show said that advice of her grandmother stuck with her all of her life, and that is why she married a white man.

So for those of you that have daughters (even if you don't have children, try the experiment with young girls that you know anyway), using a black doll and a white doll, ask which doll is beautiful to them, which would they prefer and why?
